Virtual primary care is hot market—not everyone is built for it

In March, Accolade completed its acquisition of Innovation Specialists LLC, known as 2nd.MD, and the following month announced its intent to acquire telehealth company PlushCare Inc. — a strategy that Nundy said is designed to show employers how virtual care can lead to better employee health outcomes.
Instead of creating a product that looks to solve all of a patient's needs in virtual settings, Nundy said, incorporating both online and offline services can ensure holistic care.”
